Two La Pryor High School Students Win All-Expense Trip to Washington, D.C.
December 18, 2009
Superintendent, Mr. Ximenez, was just notified this morning, December 18th, that 2 La Pryor High School students have won an all-expense paid trip to Washington, D.C. They will be able to take this trip during the month of June 2010. The students had to write an essay in order to be considered for this opportunity.
The trip will be six action packed days in which they will explore famous monuments and memorials, meet experts in media and government and have lots of fun learning and making new friends.
La Pryor ISD would like to congratulate the following students that have been chosen to attend this once in a lifetime trip to Washington, D.C.
Congratulations to:
Marissa Martinez, 11th grade
Zulema Perez, 9th grade
WE ARE HAPPY AND PROUD OF YOU AND I WOULD LIKE THANK YOU ALL FOR REPRESENTING LA PRYOR HIGH SCHOOL.
A special thanks goes to Ms. Perez, LPHS English teacher, for assisting the superintendent and the students with this project.
